There are various directions Bethesda can go regarding the game’s location, story, and gameplay. The Elder Scrolls 6 is likely years away from being released, but the prospect of it being the most advanced Elder Scrolls game ever created can leave players eagerly anticipating its arrival. Should a Stormcloak victory in Skyrim be canon, it would make sense to have Summerset Isles be the home of The Elder Scrolls 6. In The Elder Scrolls V: Skrim, should the Stormcloaks win the civil war, Galmar Stone-Fist will mention the plans to invade the Summer Isles in the future. Home to the Altmer, or High Elves, the Summerset Isles is a province of islands filled with green lands, farmlands, woodland parks, ancient towers, and manors. The Summerset Isles seems like a good fit when setting the stage for the inevitable war that pits the player against the Aldmeri Dominion.
However, there are a lot of provinces Bethesda can choose from to be the setting of The Elder Scrolls 6, some of which players have not had the chance to explore. Despite the leaked rumors of “ The Elder Scrolls 6: Redfall” being dispelled, Bethesda hasn’t confirmed or denied whether or not The Elder Scrolls 6 will take place in High Rock and Hammerfell, which leaves room for players to still possibly be correct about their theory. Many players speculated that the environment shown was part of High Rock and that The Elder Scrolls 6 would return to High Rock and Hammerfell. This was enough to get longtime players speculating about the game’s location. The landscape consisted of mountains, greenery, and what appeared to be a city. This pattern of one or two primary locations will likely continue in The Elder Scrolls 6, but the primary question is where? When The Elder Scrolls 6 teaser announcement trailer was revealed at the 2018 E3 event, a brief glimpse of a landscape was shown. While the first Elder Scrolls game, The Elder Scrolls: Arena, took place throughout all nine provinces of Tamriel, it was The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall that began the pattern of one or two primary nations, with High Rock and Hammerfell being the main settings for Daggerfall, and Daggerfall itself being a city in High Rock. Players of The Elder Scrolls Onlinecan enjoy venturing all of Tamriel, but it is known that the main Elder Scrolls games usually take place in one or two provinces, beginning with The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall.
